In a recent interview at the NAMM trade show in Southern California this week, Deftones guitarist Stephen Carpenter revealed that Deftones’ 8th studio album will be released on April 8th, preceded by a handful of Texas tour dates in March and a subsequent tour to Europe in June.

*UPDATE: Deftones have released a teaser video with a short audio clip, conforming the rumored album title of Gore. Watch the teaser:

No US tour dates have been confirmed yet, however the band will be performing at London’s Wembly Stadium on June 3rd.
