Today the world lost a rock n’ roll legend: Mötorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister.

There isn’t much that we can say that hasn’t already been said. Lemmy was a great friend to many people, and a giant inspiration to musicians around the world. We hoped he was as invincible as he seemed, but sadly that wasn’t the case.

Ian Fraser “Lemmy” Kilmister died on December 28th, 2015… which was two days after he had learned of his aggressive cancer, and four days after his 70th birthday. He was preparing for Mötorhead’s 40th anniversary tour.
