(Photo by Clay Lancaster). In classic black & white with classic black suits, New York City-based Interpol has just released a music video for the song “All the Rage Back Home”. After a long four years, the track is the first single off of their upcoming 5th studio record, El Pintor, which is due September 9th.
Singer Paul Banks co-directed the video and is also seen filling in on bass instead of a guitar, a move that he has made on occasion since the departure of founding member Carlos D in 2010.
So is it any good? Yep. The intro might throw you for a loop but once the rest of the song kicks in, it’s stripped down, powerful, etherial Interpol at their finest.
