TAKING BACK SUNDAY U.S. CO-HEADLINING TOUR WITH THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS KICKS OFF IN NOVEMBER

Burbank, CA – Taking Back Sunday has today released Live From Bamboozle ’09, available exclusively on iTunes.  The Live From Bamboozle ’09 album captures the band playing to a crowd of over 30K fans at the 2009 Bamboozle Festival, which took place in Rutherford, New Jersey on May 3rd.  This is the first time songs from all four of the band’s albums are together on one release.

The New York quintet is renowned for their electric live performances. The Kansas City Star praised the band’s charisma, continuing “a rapt audience ate it up like kettle corn on a hot day,” while the Cleveland Scene declared “Anyone who’s ever liked Taking Back Sunday should see the band live, just to be amazed by (front man Adam) Lazzara’s stage presence.”

Fresh from a hugely successful run with Blink-182 this summer, Taking Back Sunday will be supporting Live From Bamboozle ’09 with a US co-headlining tour with The All-American Rejects.  The string of dates kicks off November 3rd in East Lansing and runs through December 6th in Miami, FL.

Taking Back Sunday’s fourth studio album New Again was the third consecutive Taking Back Sunday album to debut in the top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart. Warner Bros Records released the album on June 2nd and the band celebrated with a performance of their Top 10 Modern Rock hit “Sink Into Me” on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Produced by David Kahne, New Again has earned effusive critical praise. Rolling Stone declared the track “Sink Into Me,” “the first song by an emo-pop band that the Foo Fighters wish they’d written: Catchy, lusty and sleekly propulsive.” The band premiered their new single “Where My Mouth Is” on MTV’s It’s On With Alexa Chung in August. The song goes to radio this month.
