Taking a slight break from a massive tour with Guns N’ Roses, guitarist Slash hits the road again… this time with Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators to promote their recent album 4. Their fourth tour date brought them to The Warfield in San Francisco.
The evening began with a thunderous performance by opening act Dead Sara.
The band was in top form, taking the stage to an enthusiastic audience and immediately launching into “Driving Rain”. Kennedy’s vocals powerful as ever, and Slash clearly warmed up from his recent run with Guns N’ Roses. A 21-song setlist left audience members satisfied, and included a couple covers from Lenny Kravitz and Elton John. Notably absent were Guns N’ Roses songs, but this was expected given the active status of Slash’s other band.
