Irish singer Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries was found dead in her hotel room in London on January 15th, at the age of 46. The cause of death has not been released at this time, but police do not consider the circumstances suspicious.

O’Riordan was in London for a short recording session.

The Cranberries enjoyed the height of their fame in the 1990’s, with songs like “Zombie” and “Linger”. The band was still active, with their most recent release being 2017’s Something Else. The European and North American tour was cut short, however, due to O’Riordan’s chronic back pain.

Sales of The Cranberries’ catalog have reportedly skyrocketed, as is common post-mortem. Singles “Zombie”, “Linger” and “Dreams” entered the top 10 of iTunes download charts overnight, and sales of Something Else have risen 913,350 percent according to NME.

Details regarding her funeral are not available yet, according to O’Riordan’s parish priest Father James Walton.
