It’s been 8 years since 2008’s Death Magnetic was released. For some Metallica fans, that’s 8 years too many. For others, it doesn’t really matter anyway.
Rumors have been flying this week about an October release for the band’s yet-untitled 10th studio album. Singer James Hetfield told Loudwire earlier this year that the album was being mixed and that fans should hear something “in the Fall”.
According to NME, drummer Lars Ulrich backed this statement up in April, saying “…it would be difficult for me to believe that it won’t come out in 2016.”
What do you think? Are you excited for a new Metallica album? Will it be any different than their last?
