At a time when it seems like some things just can’t get any more ridiculous, we have been given the gift of “Ghostbusters (I’m Not Afraid) feat. Missy Elliott”.
Needless to say, this is the theme song/single for the upcoming Ghostbusters film, and is a re-imagining (of sorts) of the original Ray Parker Jr. version that we all know and love.
How is it?
One-line chorus hook repeated about 38 million times, obligatory rap bridge section (you know, so it appeals to the rockers AND the hip hop crowd), immediately forgettable, and takes itself way too seriously.
Pretty much what you’d expect.
But hey, listen for yourself.
