Peter Gabriel has released a new song, recorded “a few years back” that was partly inspired by the life of Muhammad Ali. The driving, electro, sweeping 7:28 track shows off its peaks and valleys with production and samples similar to what was used on his last full length album… 2002’s UP.

In his own words:

I wrote a song a few years back – ‘I’m Amazing’, which was, in part, inspired by Muhammad Ali’s life and struggles and at the time of his death, when so many people are celebrating his life and thinking about all he achieved, it seemed the right time to release it.

Needless to say, this new tidbit of music only fuels the fires of speculation regarding the new, long-awaited album that has somehow been in the works for the last 14 years.
