Nashiville born-and-based Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown released a new single today via Altpress titled “Loaded Dice & Buried Money”. It is the first single from their forthcoming EP The Wayside, which will be released on November 13th and is the follow-up to their 2013 debut Wild Child.
Tyler Bryant had grown up into a guitar virtuoso, touring with or opening for acts like Jeff Beck, Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Joe Bonamassa, B.B. King, Pat Benatar, Heart, Smash Mouth, Styx, REO Speedwagon, and Vince Gill all before the age of 24. According to wikipedia, guitarist Vince Gill said about Tyler, “To be 18 and play like this kid is the rarest of the rare. Hands down a future guitar god.”
Bryant was also featured in the film Rock Prophecies about photographer Robert M. Knight, along with other musicians like Jeff Beck, Carlos Santana, and Slash.
Here at theFIVE10 we had a chance to talk with Tyler while he was in San Francisco in 2013 to support Wild Child. Hear what he had to say to us!
