Nate Mendel’s Lieutenant Announces U.S. Tour Dates

February 2, 2015 – Los Angeles, CA – LA based indie-rock band Lieutenant has announced its first U.S. tour dates in support of the upcoming record, If I Kill This Thing We’re All Going To Eat For A Week, which is due out on March 10thvia Dine Alone Records. The newly announced solo project from Nate Mendel (Foo Fighters, Sunny Day Real Estate) will kick off the tour at Dine Alone’s SXSW Showcase in Austin, TX on March and will end the run with a hometown show in Los Angeles at the Troubadour on April 8thTickets are on sale now.
Lieutenant made its live debut to a warm response from fans and critics in January with a handful of Southern California warm up shows that featured Mendel on guitar/vocals and guest musicians, Toshi Kasai on keyboards, Christian Wargo (Fleet Foxes) on bass, Paul “Pablo” Wilson (Snow Patrol) on guitar and Jorma Vik (The Bronx, Mariachi El Bronx) on drums. Now, Mendel will share his music in an intimate setting for fans across the country for the first time on a thirteen-date tour of the U.S.
