Wednesday, December 18th Megadeth came to San Francisco in support of their new record Super Collider, with support from Fear Factory and Nonpoint. Their setlist was largely full of older tunes, certainly appealing to many of the die hard fans. Dave Mustaine, David Ellefson, and Chris Broderick strutted around the stage, trading off solos and pumping up the Warfield crowd. Judging by the crowd energy and capacity, it looks like thrash metal is still alive… and although it’s been 30 years, it doesn’t appear that Megadeth is slowing down any time soon.
