The Detroit duo of Josh Epstein and Daniel Zott, together known as Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., have just released the GoldenboyZ remix of “If You Didn’t See Me (Then You Weren’t On The Dancefloor),” which you can hear below, the first single off of their upcoming album, The Speed of Things (out 10/08 on Warner Bros. Records). “Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.’s “If You Didn’t See Me (Then You Weren’t on the Dancefloor)” shifts from whispered, disarming quiet to arpeggio-heavy explosions in a heartbeat, but the Detroit-centric collective GoldenBoyZ wanted to give the dance anthem a glitchier, more soulful sheen.” said Rolling Stone of the remix, which premiered yesterday on their site.
