The Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce New Album

It’s been five years since the Red Hot Chili Peppers unleashed an album onto the world. Today Flea announced on his twitter that a new album is on the way. The Pepper’s website also has some clues about the new album which shows the logo along with the date “8.30.11” on the front page.

The name of the album will be called “I’m With You” and reportedly will not include John Frusciante. Josh Klinghoffer notibly of the band Dot Hacker.

No tracklisting has been released and no announcement yet about a tour. We’ll keep you posted if we get any new information.
